"Future Prediction of Acupuncturists" ~Medical Collaboration and Technology in Contact with AI~
1On the 25th of the month, I participated in the 83rd academic seminar sponsored by the Aichi Acupuncturists Association. The lecturer is Dr. Kazuma Ito
Title: "Future Prediction of Acupuncturists" ~Medical Collaboration and Technology in Contact with AI~
The content is
The story began in the 1980s with a large mobile phone that you could wear over your shoulder.
Eventually, the computer entered the house,
Smartphones have squeezed the world into pockets,
And now, AI has quietly sat by our thoughts.
The evolution of technology has gradually changed our lives and become a convenient society, just like a long journey, and has become an indispensable part of our lives.
However, there are some things that even the latest and best AI cannot match.
It is to touch the heart, touch the skin, and in my field of work, touch the acupuncture.
? Touching the heart
There are moments when someone's words suddenly reach the back of my heart.
It's not an exaggerated encouragement or a flashy drama,
It's just like a quiet gaze that says, "I'm looking at you."
Touching the heart means
It's not about taking away the other person's pain and hesitation,
I think it's like sitting gently next to it.
The warmer the fingertips you touch, the more slowly your heart unwinds.
? Touching the skin
The skin is like a "window to the heart" on the outermost part of the body.
When a gentle hand touches,
Its temperature passes through the skin,
It spreads inward like ripples.
By being touched,
It creates a sense of security as if you are being told that you will be fine.
The skin is faster than words,
A place to receive and return the person's condition.
? Touching acupuncture
The moment the acupuncture needle touches the skin,
Very quiet,
It's like a drop gently placed between breaths.
Not to inflict pain,
Touch to remind the body of a forgotten rhythm.
Acupuncture listens to the voice sleeping deep in the body,
Gently reach out only where necessary.
The act of touching the acupuncture needle is
The thin membrane between the body and the mind,
It's like gently shaking and adjusting.
Technology alone cannot reach there,
It feels like a "prayer" of the practitioner.
? The whole act of touching is to connect.
Touch the heart, touch the skin, touch the acupuncture needles.
They all seem to be different,
In fact, it's all a way to "connect with that person".
The act of touching is
Not to change the other person,
It is to gently remind you of the power in the other person.
At that moment
People will no longer be alone.
And both body and mind,
Slowly return to your place.

Textbook of Traditional Chinese Medicine Episode 16 The Lungs Control the Mind of the Body
??"The lungs control the minds of the whole body" - the breath of life prepared by acupuncture and moxibustionWe breathe casually every day.
However, how conscious are you that each breath produces and circulates the "qi" of the whole body and supports life?
In Oriental medicine,The lungs are said to be "in charge of the body's mind".
In other words, the lungs play a central role in the production, regulation, and circulation of qi throughout the body.
? Lungs and Soki: A place to nurture the energy of life
The lungs areIt inhales fresh air from the outside world and combines it with the subtleties of food and drink carried from the spleen and stomach to produce "soki".
This sect energy is stored in the chest and supports the breathing, heartbeat, voice power, and the circulation of qi and blood, which is exactly the "energy of life".
If the spirit is full, the breath is deep, the voice is clear, and the mind and body are full of vitality.
Conversely, if there is a lack of Zongqi, shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness of voice, and weakened immunity will appear.
? The role of acupuncture and moxibustion: Adjusting qi through the lung meridian
In acupuncture, acupuncture points belonging to the "hand Taiyin Lung Meridian" are used to enhance the function of the lungs.
For example:
- Chufu:
For chest congestion and coughing. It helps the lungs to promote their work.
- Shakutaku:
For acute symptoms of the respiratory tract. It promotes the purification of lung qi.
- Taien:
It replenishes the spirit qi and regulates breathing and heartbeat.
By stimulating these pressure points, you can regulate the flow of qi in the lungs and aid in the production and circulation of qi.
In addition, for modern people who tend to breathe shallowly, acupuncture can be a quiet help to regain "qi breathing".
By increasing the flexibility of the rib cage and promoting the movement of the diaphragm, natural deep breathing is created and the lungs are restored to strength.
? Seasonal health and lung qi
Autumn is also known as the "lung season", and dryness and cold can easily disturb the qi in the lungs.
During this period, white foods (lotus root, lily root, pear, etc.), warm breathing techniques, and acupuncture are the best ways to protect the qi of the lungs.

Textbook of Traditional Chinese Medicine Episode 15 The Lungs Control the Circulation Water Supply
?"The lungs control the water supply" - a quiet command tower that regulates the circulation of waterOur bodies are nourished and protected by invisible streams of water.
The quiet command tower that regulates the circulation of water is the lungs.
In Oriental medicine, the lungs are not just respiratory organs,"Tsuchosuido" - that is, it is said to play a role in regulating water metabolism in the body.
?What is water supply
"Water supply" is the path through which water (bodily fluids) in the body flows.
The water obtained from food and drink is absorbed by the spleen and distributed throughout the body by the lungs.
The lungs are located at the top of the river and are also called the "upper source of water".
??Lung function: proclamation and purging
The lungs regulate the flow of water through two functions: promulgation and retreat.
? Announcement:Moisture circulates to the skin and body surface and is expelled as sweat.
It helps regulate body temperature and excrete waste products.
? Surrender:It sends excess water to the kidneys and bladder, where it is excreted as urine.
It supports the downstream treatment of moisture.
If this up-and-down flow is blocked, you may experience swelling, coughing, difficulty urinating, and other problems.
??♀?Harmony of breath and water
Breathing is the act of regulating not only the air but also the circulation of water.
Deep, quiet breathing helps the lungs to release and purify and balances the water in the body.
In the dry season of autumn and winter, protecting the moisture of the lungs is the key to health care.
White foods (lotus root, lily root, pear, etc.), humidification, and relaxed breathing techniques support the function of the lungs to regulate the water supply.
Water has no shape and flows without sound.
The work of the lungs that watch and adjust the flow is like a well that quietly moistens the garden.
Why don't you listen to the voice of your lungs in your daily life?

Textbook of Traditional Chinese Medicine Episode 14 The Lungs Have the Effect of Promulgating and Purifying
"The lungs speak, the harmony between the inside and the outside"
Our bodies go about our days in response to nature.
In it, the lungs are"Declaration of Independence"and"Purge"Through these two functions, it maintains a balance between the body and the outside.
The announcement is, circulate your mind outward and protect your body surface.
The surrender is, guiding qi inward, bringing moisture and stability.
When this up-and-down flow is blocked, various complaints such as coughing, shortness of breath, swelling, and coldness appear.
That's why adjusting your breathing is about harmonizing your mind and body.
Why don't you cherish the feeling of connecting with nature with each breath?

Traditional Chinese Medicine Textbook Episode 13 What is the "Spleen" in Ancient Chinese and Dutch Medical Books
? The Concept of "Spleen" in Ancient China (Traditional Chinese Medicine)Unlike the spleen in Western medicine, the "spleen" in traditional Chinese medicine is positioned as a central organ responsible for functions such as digestion, absorption, production of qi and blood, blood circulation, and clearing.
Main functions (from the theory of Tibetan elephants)
? Transport and chemical role: Extracting nutrients (grain essence) from food, qi, blood, and body fluids
Convert to
? Hematogenic effect: Involved in the production of blood (in Western medicine, bone marrow is responsible)
? Blood unification effect: Keeping blood in blood vessels and preventing it from leaking out
? Clarification effect: Lifts nutrients to the heart, lungs, and head
? Belongs to the thought: Excessive thoughtfulness is said to damage the spleen
The "spleen" in traditional Chinese medicine is said to have a function similar to that of the "pancreas" and "digestive system" of Western medicine.
? Sugita Genpaku and the redefinition of "spleen"
Sugita Genpaku (1733?1817was an orchid doctor in the Edo period and a pioneer in introducing Western anatomy to Japan.
His translation of "The New Book of Dismantling" was based on the Dutch "Tahel Anatomia", and was a groundbreaking book that revealed the actual structure of the human body against the abstract concept of organs such as the five organs and six organs.
The shock and challenge of Genpaku Sugita
? In traditional Chinese medicine, the "spleen" was considered the center of digestion and absorption.
The actual spleen is involved in immunity and blood filtrationIt turns out to be a small organ
? Sugita witnessed the "division of the organs (dissection)" and became the abstraction of the internal organs
Question
? As a resultThe transition from empirical medicine to empirical medicine began, and it became an opportunity for the spread of orchid medicine
? Summary: "Spleen" as an intersection of ideas
In ancient China, the spleen was regarded as a central functional organ for life activities, rooted in the idea of emphasizing harmony between the body and nature.
On the other hand, Sugita Genpaku is a person who saw the actual human body and built a bridge from an abstract view of organs to a scientific understanding of its structure.
This difference in "spleen" is not just a difference in medical terminology,It is the very difference in ideas about how to look at the body and how to heal it.

I look at the Hinoeuma with the eyes of Oriental medicine
? I look at the Hinoeuma with the eyes of Oriental medicineWhen I hear the word "Pingwu", I feel that it sounds like an old story.
There are various legends, such as the year of strong fire and the fierce temper.
However, if you look at it from the perspective of Oriental medicine,
Bingwu can be taken as a soft meaning of "a year when the fire is a little too intense".
? A year full of fire
Bingwu is both "Yang Fire" in the "Bing" of the Ten Trunks and "Wu" in the Twelve Zodiac Signs.
Since the fire overlaps in double, it is easy to gain momentum.
Fire is inherently an important existence that gives brightness and warmth.
But if you are too energetic, you may feel a little restless.
For example
? I feel a bit nervous
? Face is prone to hot flashes
? Difficulty falling asleep
? Feeling rushed
It is easy to feel such a feeling, which is a characteristic of strong fire.
? The power of "water" to gently wrap fire
When fire is strong, it is important to have the opposite nature of water.
In Oriental medicine, water corresponds to the "kidneys" and symbolizes tranquility and calmness.
When the fire crackles,
The presence of water gently snuggles up to you.
So in a year of fire like Bingwu,
Nourishing the kidneys (water) leads to the stability of the mind and body.
? In the year of Bingwu, a gentle regimen
● Take care of your kidneys with black ingredients
Black beans, black sesame seeds, kelp, hijiki, kikurage, etc.
Black is the color of the kidneys, which nurtures a quiet power deep in the body.
● A little food to calm hot flashes
Yams, lotus roots, pork, lily roots, and mushrooms.
It softens the momentum of the fire and deepens your breathing.
● Make time to relax
? Deep breathing
? Turn off the lights early at night
? Don't overheat
? Don't overpack your schedule
In the Year of Fire, just slowing down makes your heart feel lighter.
? Because it is a year of momentum, choose tranquility
Bingwu has long been said to be a "strong year".
But strength is not a bad thing, it's just that there is momentum.
The more momentum there is,
If you are aware of tranquility and looseness, you will be able to balance your mind and body.
In the year of fire, water curing.
Take a breather in the year of movement.
Such a way of spending time is also somewhat comfortable.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Textbook Episode 12 The Spleen Functions to Unify Blood
?"The spleen governs the blood" - a quiet defense that protects the blood (Sakimori)Blood is the flow of life that moisturizes the body, carries nutrients, and stabilizes the mind.
Keeping that blood where it needs to stay and not leak out - that's what it is.It is a function called "unifying blood".
In Oriental medicine, the spleen isIt is considered to be the "organ that governs the blood" and is responsible for keeping blood firmly in the blood vessels.
When this force weakens, blood leaks out of the veins, causing various bleeding symptoms.
? Disturbance of the function of unified blood - spleen unity (Hifutouketsu)
When the blood flow of the spleen is imbalanced, the following symptoms appear:
? nosebleeds, bleeding from the gums
? Bloody stools, hematuria, irregular genital bleeding (leakage)
? Subcutaneous bleeding, purpura
? fatigue, pallor, shortness of breath
? loss of appetite, bloating
These are states in which the power to control blood is weakened by spleen qi deficiency, and blood "spills out".
Chronic fatigue, overwork, eating too many sweets, and a humid environment are often the background, and they tend to worsen during the rainy season and summer.
? Acupuncture to increase blood circulation
In acupuncture, treatment is performed to replenish spleen qi and restore blood circulation by focusing on the acupuncture points of the spleen and stomach meridians.
? Ashisanri:
It replenishes the qi of the spleen and stomach, helps digestion and absorption, and blood production.
? Sanyinko:
It regulates the spleen, liver, and kidneys, and regulates the quality and quantity of blood.
? Spleen Yu (Hiyu):
The key point of the spleen on the back. It is effective for bleeding symptoms caused by spleen qi deficiency.
? Medium?(Chukan):
It regulates the center of the stomach and spleen and supports the ability to transport and unify blood.
These acupuncture points quietly awaken the power of the spleen as a "defensive person" to protect the blood.
The spleen is a quiet guard that protects the blood.
When that power is in place, the body is moisturized, the mind is at peace, and life continues to flow peacefully.
Acupuncture is a technique that supports the stability of life by staying close to the power of defense.
In every needle and breath, the harmony of blood and qi is breathing.
