Participation in the 2025 Annual General Assembly

From 13:00 on Sunday, June 15, Reiwa, Japan 2025 General Meeting of the Association of Acupuncturists was held in Conference Room 3 on the 4th floor of the Hamamatsucho Building of the Tokyo Metropolitan Center for Industry and Trade.
From Aichi Prefecture, Chairman Hasegawa and General Manager Ikeda from our association participated as delegates.
In addition, the director of the Japan Acupuncturists Association and vice chairman Koyama, and the director of the public relations department Saai as a candidate for the next director, also participated.

The 2025 regular general meeting began at 1 p.m. with a speech by Chairman Nakamura, followed by discussions on the FY2024 business report, FY2025 management policy, and business plan.
As for the resolutions, the FY2024 financial results, articles of incorporation, and changes to various regulations were discussed and approved. After that, the election of directors and auditors for fiscal 2025 was held. Since there are 17 candidates for directors and are within the number of directors, it was decided that there would be no election and no vote of confidence was required, and all 17 candidates were elected and approved.
From Aichi Prefecture, two people, Vice Chairman Koyama and General Manager of the Public Relations Department of Saai, were elected as directors of the Japan Acupuncturists Association.
Dr. Nakamura (Shizuoka) was appointed as the representative director (chairman) and approved. Other positions will be announced at a later date.
Regarding the two internal auditors, three candidates, Dr. Oguchi (Tokyo), Dr. Sadaike (Ishikawa), and Dr. Saeno (Okayama), ran for office. As a result of the election, Dr. Oguchi and Dr. Sadaike were elected with 55 votes, 79 votes, and 27 votes, respectively.

There are many people who are employed at group acupuncture clinics. A question was submitted about whether the Japan Acupuncturists Association is understanding, responding, and providing assistance to this group acupuncture clinic.
The response of the Japan Acupuncturists Association is not available, and we will investigate it in the future.
Students are guided to join, but companies are asked what they can do and what they want from the Japanese Acupuncture Association to proceed with their business.
