"Grape Festival"

2022-5-7 pm

On May 3~5, I participated in the "Wine Festival" at Komaki Winery.
I was able to meet my friends for the first time in three years, had a good time, and had a meaningful day with many things to be taught.

"We're not equal, but we're equal."
"What you have and what you can do are not equal.
But as human beings, we are equals."
What you have, what you don't. What can and cannot be done. It is clear that there is a difference compared to able-bodied people. That's why it's not "equality."
But as a "person", as a one-on-one person, they are just "human beings" who make no difference.

Many colleagues with disabilities are involved in the work of growing grapes, producing, processing and selling wine.
With the aim of earning enough income by working and living an independent life in the community even if they have a disability, Komaki Winery is taking on the challenge of winemaking.
